Pre-School

Our Christ-centered preschool program provides developmentally appropriate activities in a hands-on, play-based learning environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

Pre- Kindergarten

Our pre-kindergarten program, while similar in nature to our preschool, focuses more on kindergarten readiness and promotes shared and independent learning in a math and literacy-rich environment.

Before and After School

We offer a before and after school program to help accomadate our families.
7:00am- 8:00am and 3:00pm- 6:00pm

Why Redeemer Nixa Preschool

We are a preschool of academic excellence and faith integration. Our goal is to help children grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, cognitively, academically and socially. Our main purpose is to share God’s love with children while providing educational opportunities that will prepare them for Kindergarten.

Classroom Facilities

Redeemer Nixa’s classrooms are organized around interest areas or learning centers. These defined areas allow children to play and explore materials with the guidance of the teacher, either individually or in small groups. Some of our learning centers are dramatic play, blocks, art, sensory, and science. Our colorful classrooms have designated circle time areas where we listen to stories, dance to music, and learn about Jesus. We have child-sized tables and chairs where we can learn together as a group and complete fun projects. Our classrooms have easy access to an enclosed outdoor play area filled with structures for climbing and balancing.

Music

  • Children play instruments
  • Pitch (high singing voice, low singing voice)
  • Move to the beat of the song
  • Children are introduced to new instruments (step bells, rain stick, ukulele, harpsichord, etc.)
  • Sing monthly for Adult Bible Study
  • -Sing for church services throughout the school year
  • -Preschool Sunday Singing, Christmas Program, End of the School Year Program

Chapel

  • George the Friendly Lion and Simon our puppet friends visit weekly
  • Pastor Parvey and Miss Jessie shares their faith with the children through weekly bible stories
  • Learn and sing songs to praise our Lord
  • Dancing and actions to songs for movement opportunities
  • Weekly offering for various types of charity organizations in our community (Least of These, Turkey Drive, etc.)
